Zomedica Collaborates with Boehringer Ingelheim to Enhance Equine Endocrine Testing
Zomedica announced a collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA to enhance early detection along with treatment and monitoring of pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction in horses. The collaboration integrates the TRUFORMA system into Boehringer Ingelheim's idPPID awareness and testing program, enabling veterinarians to perform rapid endocrine testing at the point of care using Zomedica's equine endogenous ACTH and equine insulin assays. This collaboration will now enable veterinarians to perform rapid endocrine testing at the point of care that fosters prompt diagnosis and treatment. The integration of Zomedica's TRUFORMA diagnostic platform into the Boehringer Ingelheim idPPID awareness and testing program brings advantages for veterinarians and horse owners, alike. Under the agreement, Zomedica will promote the idPPID program to veterinarians within its TRUFORMA and PulseVet customer networks, while Boehringer Ingelheim will expand its PPID testing program to include reimbursing participating veterinarians for diagnostic testing performed with Zomedica's TRUFORMA platform and reimbursement through laboratory testing at Cornell University.
Zomedica Launches VETGuardian PLUS Monitor
Zomedica announced the commercial launch of the VETGuardian PLUS monitor, the next generation of its Zero Touch patient monitoring platform for veterinary clinics. The company said, "The VETGuardian PLUS monitor builds on the success of the original VETGuardian system while adding new features that improve ease of use, workflow efficiency, and access to patient data. The system allows veterinary teams to continuously monitor patients without physical contact, helping reduce animal stress while improving staff safety and operational efficiency."
Zomedica enters PulseVet sponsorship agreement with WEC - Ocala
Zomedica announced a strategic sponsorship agreement between its brand, the PulseVet shock wave device, and the World Equestrian Center - Ocala. This partnership designates the PulseVet device as the official shock wave therapy provider at WEC - Ocala, enhancing veterinary care for elite equine athletes and reinforcing Zomedica's commitment to advancing animal health through innovative technologies. Through this partnership, PulseVet shock wave will receive broad visibility across the WEC Ocala property, including branded signage in competition arenas, digital scoreboard promotions, and features in the WEC Weekly newsletter and World Equestrian Center Magazine. The PulseVet shock wave team will also offer on-site educational resources and promotional materials to support equine veterinarians and caretakers.
Zomedica announces expansion of equine distribution agreement with Grovet
Zomedica announced the expansion of its distribution partnership in Europe with Grovet. The terms of the updated agreement offer Grovet equine distribution rights for Zomedica's equine PulseVet and TRUFORMA product platforms throughout most of Europe. Grovet will exclusively distribute these equine products in 27 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland, and will distribute these products on anon-exclusive basis in Italy and the UK. In addition to expanding the distribution of PulseVet products to equine veterinarians into additional European countries, this agreement also expands their product offerings to include the TRUFORMA platform as well as the Company's current equine assays for eACTH and Cortisol, and equine Insulin when it launches later this year.
