Wedbush Raises Argenx Price Target to $1,050 and Acquires Forte
Wedbush raised the firm's price target on Argenx (ARGX) to $1,050 from $1,000 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm notes the company will acquire Forte Biosciences (FBRX) for $77/share in cash, adding FB102, a first-in-class anti-CD122 antibody, to its growing immunology pipeline. The transaction follows Argenx's strategic investment in Forte's April financing at $26.27/share and reflects management's continued strategy of selectively acquiring differentiated immunology assets with broad pipeline-in-a-product potential. The acquisition is supported by encouraging early proof-of-concept across two autoimmune diseases, Wedbush adds.

Argenx Acquires Forte for $77/Share, H.C. Wainwright Bullish on First Tracks
After Argenx (ARGX) announced a deal to acquire Forte (FBRX) for a price of $77 per share, a 43% premium to Friday's share price and a total equity value of $2.2B, H.C. Wainwright said the firm views the Forte acquisition as "highly relevant" for First Tracks Biotherapeutics (TRAX). Forte's anti-CD122 antibody, FB102, is a direct competitor for First Tracks' ANB033 asset, which is in development for celiac disease and eosinophilic esophagitis, notes the analyst, who believes the rival acquisition news "bodes well for ANB033 and makes First Tracks a potential acquisition target, assuming Phase 1b CeD data are positive." The firm has a Buy rating on First Tracks and says it is evaluating its estimates and valuation assumptions based on today's news.

Stock Futures Surge as Oil Prices Plunge
Stock futures are sharply higher Monday as investors return from the weekend encouraged by easing geopolitical tensions and a steep decline in oil prices. Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures are all advancing ahead of the opening bell, with technology and travel stocks leading premarket gains as crude prices retreat.Markets are reacting positively to reports that the Trump administration has paused further military escalation with Iran to allow room for diplomatic efforts. Airline, cruise and other travel-related stocks are benefiting from the drop in oil, while energy shares are under pressure.Investor attention is focused on a week that includes the Federal Reserve's July policy meeting, second-quarter GDP data, the June personal consumption expenditures price index, and earnings from four of the "Magnificent Seven" companies.
