U-Haul Holding reports Q4 EPS (46c) vs. (5c) last year
Reports Q4 revenue $1.23B vs. $1.18B last year. "We are seeing the high prices we paid for fleet replacements over the last thirty months impact the income statement. Reduced gains on the sale of rental equipment and increased fleet depreciation expense decreased earnings by nearly $260M for the year compared to FY24. We have increased depreciation further to recognize this expense in the current period," stated Joe Shoen, chairman. "Both the truck acquisition and sale market are showing improvement. The automakers have abandoned the mirage of going net zero and hopefully will get back to offering reliable, fairly priced trucks in quantity."
U-Haul opens self-storage facility in Rocky Mount
U-Haul is opening its first retail, moving and storage center in Rocky Mount to better meet the residential mobility and self-storage needs of Nash and Edgecombe Counties. U-Haul Moving & Storage of Rocky Mount at 131 S. Wesleyan Blvd. was acquired on Nov. 20. The 8.59-acre property was previously the site of Rocky Mount Storage. The facility, which offers a variety of 457 indoor climate-controlled storage units for rent, also has truck and trailer sharing; a retail showroom with boxes and moving supplies; and green initiatives like the Take A Box, Leave A Box program.
U-Haul Holding Company acquires All Season Storage property
U-Haul is now serving customers at a second self-storage facility in Kingsport, having acquired the former All Season Storage location at 4303 Fort Henry Drive to better meet the needs of Sullivan and Hawkins County residents. Now U-Haul Storage of Fort Henry Drive, the 0.75-acre property was acquired on Nov. 12. It is the 49th U-Haul-owned store in Tennessee and provides great accessibility being directly off Interstate 81 (exit 59) and close to Interstate 26.

"U-Box is steadily gaining, U-Store is growing, but still at a pace slower than we are adding additional units. We have made some modest gains in repair. We will continue to focus on serving customers in a superior fashion."
U-Haul acquires 2 self-storage facilities in Baldwin County, Alabama
U-Hau is now serving customers at two new self-storage locations in southern Alabama. he former Wolf Bay Storage facilities in Robertsdale and Elberta were acquired on Oct. 22. The properties had served as U-Haul dealer locations for more than 20 years. "Baldwin County is one of the fastest growing counties in the U.S. and a favorite spot for vacationers," stated Chad Rome, U-Haul Company of South Alabama president. "This is a great opportunity for U-Haul to expand into new markets and serve more customers with our trusted moving and storage products."
