Reports Q2 revenue $26.36M vs $26.72M last year. George J. Carter, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented as follows: "As we continue to move through 2026, our focus remains squarely on maximizing shareholder value through our expanded evaluation of strategic alternatives, proactive asset management, and efforts to improve leasing and occupancy. During the quarter, we endeavored to make progress on several important strategic initiatives that we believe could help position the Company to potentially capitalize on incrementally improving market conditions, while maintaining financial and strategic flexibility. Most notably, during the quarter, we expanded and formally launched our expanded strategic review process with BofA Securities and JLL Real Estate Investment Banking serving as our co-financial advisors. We believe this enhanced framework broadens our ability to identify, evaluate and execute upon a wide range of possible strategic opportunities, including potential corporate transactions, portfolio level transactions, individual asset dispositions and other initiatives intended to maximize shareholder value. We look forward to continuing to work closely with our co-advisors to carefully evaluate credible opportunities to maximize shareholder value."
Franklin Street Properties Expands Strategic Review Process
Franklin Street Properties "announced that it has expanded its ongoing strategic alternatives review process to include BofA Securities and Jones Lang LaSalle Securities, LLC as co-financial advisors in an expansion of its ongoing strategic review process. The expanded process is designed to enhance the Company's ability to evaluate and execute a broad range of potential transactions. BofA Securities and JLL Securities bring complementary capabilities across capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and asset level execution, positioning the Company to assess opportunities at both the portfolio and individual asset levels. The Company intends to continue evaluating a range of strategic alternatives with the objective of maximizing value for shareholders. These alternatives may include, among other things, a sale or merger of the Company, sales of individual assets or groups of assets, joint ventures, or other capital structure or strategic transactions."
Franklin Street Properties Updates on Strategic Alternatives Review
Franklin Street Properties announced that it is providing an additional update on its previously announced review of strategic alternatives. On May 14, 2025, FSP announced that its Board of Directors had initiated a review of strategic alternatives in order to explore ways to maximize shareholder value. On November 21, 2025, FSP provided an initial update on its review of strategic alternatives. The review remains ongoing and includes a range of potential strategic alternatives, including a sale of the Company, a sale of assets, and a refinancing of existing indebtedness, among others. BofA Securities is acting as FSP's financial advisor in connection with the review. George J. Carter, Chairman and CEO of FSP provided the following statement: "The process we first announced in May 2025 to review strategic alternatives in order to explore ways to maximize shareholder value remains ongoing. As initially announced in the Company's November 21, 2025 press release, FSP remains in active negotiations with a potential lender to refinance all of its existing indebtedness prior to the maturity date of the Company's existing indebtedness. We look forward to continuing to update the market as and when appropriate." No assurances can be given regarding the outcome or timetable for completion of the proposed refinancing transaction or the strategic review process.

That process continues and, specifically, FSP is currently in active negotiations with a potential lender to refinance all of its existing indebtedness. We look forward to updating the market when the strategic process is complete."
