Q2 Tangible Book Value Per Share Increases to $31.64
Reports Q2 tangible book value per share increased to $31.64 at June 30 from $30.58 at March 31. Q2 net interest margin increased 5 basis points over the previous quarter to 2.97%. Tier 1 leverage capital ratio was 9.66% from 9.43% at previous quarter end. "Our record quarterly earnings reflect the momentum we are building across the franchise as we execute on our long-term strategy," said CEO Simon Griffiths. "Through continued investment in talent and focused efforts to deepen customer relationships, we delivered 3% annualized loan growth during the quarter and strong revenue performance across our complementary business lines. We enter the second half of the year with confidence in our strategy, disciplined execution, and a continued commitment to creating long-term value for our shareholders."
Camden National Bank Appoints Three Executives
Camden National Bank announced three executive appointments to "strengthen its commercial banking leadership and enhance support for clients across Northern New England." Kate Brunelle has been named executive VP, Chief Credit Officer; Ryan Smith has been named executive VP, commercial banking; and Barbara Raths has been named executive VP, treasury management and government banking. Brunelle joins Camden National Bank from TD Bank, where she built a 20-year career in commercial banking, credit risk, and complex credit restructuring.
Company Reports Nearly $22 Million Net Income for Q1
Reports Q1 core net interest margin on a FTE basis 2.92% vs. 2.92% last quarter. Tangible book value per share was $30.58 at March 31, up 18% vs. March 31, 2025. Reports Q1 common Equity Tier 1 ratio of 12.01%, a Tier 1 risk-based ratio of 13.32%, a total risk-based ratio of 14.27%, and a Tier 1 leverage ratio of 9.43%. "Our reported net income of nearly $22 million for the first quarter reflects the benefits of the acquisition we completed last year, including our ability to efficiently scale the combined organization and accelerate our strategy to grow and strengthen our franchise," said CEO Simon Griffiths. "We delivered solid performance in the first quarter through strong asset quality, expense management and deposit growth. Looking ahead, we remain focused on sustained growth and disciplined execution as we continue to meet our customers' evolving needs through advice-based conversations."
Q4 Net Interest Margin Rises to 3.29%
Reports Q4 net interest margin up 13 basis points over Q3 to 3.29%, and core net interest margin up 10 basis points over the same period to 2.92%. Tangible book value per share increased 4% during Q4 to $29.69 at year-end. Common Equity Tier 1 ratio was 11.69%, Tier 1 risk-based ratio was 13.00%, total risk-based ratio was 13.95%, and Tier 1 leverage ratio was 9.12%. Reports Q3 net interest margin up10 basis points to 3.16% vs. Q2. Tier 1 leverage capital ratio 8.94% from 8.74% last quarter. Tangible book value per share was $28.42 from $26.90 last quarter.
