Infleqtion Completes Business Combination with Churchill Capital Corp X
Infleqtion announced the completion of its previously announced business combination with Churchill Capital Corp X, a special purpose acquisition company. Churchill X, whose shares of common stock, warrants and units were listed on The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC has delisted from Nasdaq, and shares of common stock and warrants of the post-combination company, Infleqtion, Inc., are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange beginning on February 17, 2026, under the ticker symbol "INFQ."
Churchill Capital X Shareholders Approve Merger with Infleqtion, Raising Over $550 Million
Churchill Capital Corp X "announced that its shareholders have approved the previously announced business combination with Infleqtion, Inc., a global leader in quantum sensing and quantum computing powered by neutral-atom technology. The strong support from Churchill X's shareholders is expected to result in Infleqtion receiving over $550 million of gross proceeds, including nearly 100% of the cash held in Churchill X's trust account prior to the redemption deadline and more than $125 million of incremental capital raised through a common stock PIPE at the transaction valuation from leading existing Infleqtion stockholders and new institutional investors."
Infleqtion Signs $6.2 Million Contract with U.S. DOE
Infleqtion announced it has executed its contract with the U.S. Department of Energy's, DOE, Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy, ARPA-E, formally launching development under its $6.2 million Enhancing Neutral-atom Computers for Optimizing Delivery of Energy project. This program, which includes key collaborations with Argonne National Laboratory, the National Laboratory of the Rockies, EPRI, and ComEd, is the first quantum project for the department focusing on advancing the application of quantum-enhanced computational methods to revolutionize energy grid optimization. This announcement follows Infleqtion's plans to go public through a merger with Churchill Capital Corp X.

Infleqtion appoints Jason Hall as chief legal officer
Infleqtion has appointed Jason Hall as chief legal officer, effective November 10, 2025. Hall has advised global organizations through complex legal matters and built scalable, high-performing legal functions. In this role, he will oversee all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions for Infleqtion, supporting the company's strategic growth and strengthening governance practices. Hall is joining Infleqtion after it announced in September that it plans to go public through a business combination with Churchill Capital Corp X, a special purpose acquisition company.
